Two brothers – one black, one white and adopted – are torn apart by a violent act in their youth. As one becomes a rising politician and the other a right-wing provocateur, they find themselves on opposite sides of fractured America. But through the music that once gave them escape, we glimpse the wounded masculinity and buried grief they can’t outrun.
